But Durga lies to her sons that their father went to city for business so that they don't feel like orphans. Durjan Singh(Amrish Puri), evil brother of the rich man murders him aiming for his wealth. They settle in village and she gives birth to two sons Karan and Arjun. Story revolves around Durga Singh(Rakhee) who is a poor girl marries a rich man but that rich man's father throws him out. Hrithik Roshan was an assistant director of this film. Karan Arjun is a 1995 Bollywood action masala film directed by Rakesh Roshan starring Salman Khan as Karan and Shahrukh Khan as Arjun. And the two pre-arranged marriages that precluded the boys from marrying their sweethearts are quickly overturned with a few extra gunshots. The boys of course have come back to avenge their deaths and to kill the perpetrators who were so cruel to their mother. There is much thrusting of the pelvis and jerking of the neck muscles and the ensemble cast are most adept at these movements. Fortunately we gain some relief from the fighting episodes ( far too long) when some rather elaborate song and dance sequences are introduced. When the boys do in fact reappear in the village, there is great celebration. Head-butting and kicking with the boot in any place that hurts. When it comes to fisticuffs, there seems to be no holds barred. There is a lot of fighting with sword, gun and catapult. Judging by the antics in this film anything can happen. She is ridiculed by the perpetrators of the crime, but she continues to believe that with faith anything is possible. The boys' mother cannot accept the death of her two handsome sons so she prays in the temple for them to be restored to her.
#MOVIE KARAN ARJUN SONG MOVIE#
If you like action and lots of blood, this movie is for you. I don't know how many bloodied bodies we see in the ensuing scenes. Clasping each others hands they are quickly despatched by a final thrust of a sabre. Two Hindu brothers Karan and Arjun lie dying after being attacked by bandits. All in all, go and try this wholesome Bollywood entertainment. Rajesh Roshan's music is as always amazing, with "Yeh Bandhan" leading the list. Mamta and Kajol are hardly there, particularly Kajol, who is invisible. Raakhee does well as the suffering mom and the moment of unity is such a familiar tear-causing scene that nothing else matters.

Salman is restrained as never before and Shahrukh is carefree and positive. Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan work very well together and give the film a certain appeal not warranted by the script. Despite that, there are some emotions that somehow work for others, so I would call it a children's film which may appeal to the rest of the family. The film may particularly appeal to children - heroes and villains, fights and races, dialogue which does not have much sense, very caricaturish characters. Yet, it never takes itself too seriously, so it somehow works despite being blown out of proportions. The film has some heartbreaking feel about it, but as a film, it is a bit overdone, melodramatic and cheesy. And her prayers get paid off when her children are reborn in different parts of the country and grow up looking the same as her dead kids. It is about two brothers who are killed and their mother who expects to see them again for some reason and desperately prays for the day they come back. He said that later, both of them practised a lot and got their steps right but Mamta got them wrong.Reincarnation is the one word which can be used to describe Karan Arjun, a film which can easily be a fun watch for the entire family. The superstar said that he and Salman were dancing behind Mamta in one sequence and though the director okayed the shot, she was not convinced. In the video, which has gone viral again, Shah Rukh can be heard saying that Mamta was the only one on the set who scolded Salman and him. SRK had hilariously narrated how the two Khans were scolded by their co-star Mamta Kulkarni for allegedly messing up the dance steps during the shooting of the song Bhangra Paa Le. One of them was shared by Shah Rukh, when he had visited the sets of the Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss. There are several behind-the-scenes stories about Karan Arjun that keep emerging every now and then. In fact, in the last couple of years, it proved to be perfect meme material. It has been 25 years since the film released but ‘Mere Karan Arjun aayenge’ continues to be a popular dialogue. Karan Arjun, headlined by two of Bollywood’s biggest superstars, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, remains one of the most memorable films of the 1990s.
